Details On the 10th October 1884, the STORM KING, an 18 year old steam tug of Newcastle with a crew of 4 under Captain S. L. Duncan, departed Montrose for towing, in ballast, and was stranded near Scurdie Ness Lighthouse, Montrose. Two lives lost.
