Details An partial report dated 14th November 1834 states that 'The MAINANE, from Bergen, has been laid on the beach at Montrose, and is nearly a total wreck. A schooner of about 60 tons, foundered during a heavy gale at south-southwest on the night of the 11th November near Rattray Briggs. A pump brake drifted on shore with 'Boston' branded on each side of it.'. No further information.
