Drill Hall, probably built at the beginning of the 20th century, depicted on the OS 2nd edition map (1903), and in use during the First World War. The two storey front block facing the street survives. It has a blocked door with initials VA (Volunteer Artillery) over the lintel. The hall behind has been demolished. In 1914 the hall was the base for No. 4 Company North Scottish Royal Garrison Artillery.
