Cropmark of possible palisaded enclosure, recorded during aerial reconnaissance by CUCAP in 1974, and subsequently by the RCAHMS in 1976, 1982, 1988 and 1994 and by AAS in 2003 and 2005. In form it is a large circular enclosure and is situated to the west of Little Kinnaber, at the top of the steep scarp that drops down to the bridges across the River North Esk. There are two concentric ditches, possibly palisaded, about 20m apart, which form the southern half of the enclosure, which may measure up to 100m in diameter over all.
