Details Bridge, dating to the 18th century, on the Old Military Road (NJ20NE0013). which connected Coupar Angus to Fort George. The bridge is single-span, arched and rubble-built, the arch still complete. There are cobblestones on surface, but no parapet. The arch measures 6m across and 2.2m in height, the bridge having an overall width of 4.4m. The roadway, in use as an estate road, now bypasses the bridge. A watching brief was carried out in 1997 during excavation of an exploratory trench across the remains of the road at the east approach to the bridge (NJ20NE0013), revealing the full width of the carriageway, Consolidation and repair works to the bridge were carried out 1997-2000.
