Details The remains of a small depopulated settlement with longhouses and enclosures lie within the southwest corner of a large subrectangular enclosure. They are depicted on the OS maps of 1867, as four disused buildings, orientated northeast-southwest, one of them two-compartmented, with a small enclosure to the southeast. By the 1888 edition only two buildings and the small enclosure are depicted within the larger enclosure. Now only one of the buildings and the two enclosure are depicted on present maps, although the footings of the other were photographed under snow conditions during winter flying.
