Details Alleged holy well, a pool of rainwater on summit of Ben Newe which was renowned for its cures. It may be sacred place, the Celtic name preserved in the 'Newe' of Ben Newe. Some years before 1866 many pins were found and coins and charms have been offered in recent years.
