Manse, associated farmstead and walled garden. Built in 1783, the central porch was added in 1826. 2-storey with attic, 3-bay, partial double-pile M-gabled former manse. Constructed of harled granite, with regular fenestration. Grey slate roof with lead flashing. Scrolled skewputts, coped skews and gable stacks. Single storey, 7-bay, E-plan, gabled steading. Predominantly regular fenestration with numerous cartshed openings. Squared granite courses. Grey slates, lead flashing, coped skews. Unusual semicircular walled garden to rear of steading, coped rubble wall. Set into the inner face of the wall is a cross stone, incised with a cross potent, possibly of medieval date and originally from the old kirkyard (NJ40NW0032). Photographic recording of the former steading was carried out in 2016 ahead of proposed development.
