Remains of a township, depicted on the 1st edition OS map as comprising nine buildings and five enclosures. By the 2nd edition map, two buildings have been removed, two enclosures encompassed within larger field plots and an additional enclosure shown to the southwest. Two of the original buildings survive and are in use today, with two further buildings surviving as unroofed along with some of the stone walls of the enclosures.
