Wells which were said to have beneficial properties. They lost their local popularity with the opening of nearby Pannanich wells. Two of the wells are built from granite, square in shape within a raised area. Over the years they have become heavily overgrown with bushes. Under the Adopt-a-Monument Scheme the Cromar History group have cleared the area and brought the wells back to light . A drain has been installed around the well to deal with waterlogging, and a footbridge installed to give access to the site. The well culverts that run from the wells to the adjacent burn were cleared in June-October 2008, and the culverts relined.
