Former manse and steading, still in residential use. The front section of the manse was built in 1850 by Thomas Mackenzie and James Matthews, and a large rear wing dated 1865. It is shown on the 1st and 2nd edition OS map as a T-plan manse with a building and a U-plan steading with attached horsemill to the east. Current OS maps show the building to the east, part of the steading and the horsemill has been removed. The manse is a large neo-Jacobean building with a two-storey and attic, three-window, exposed rubble front section with twin shaped gables and a centre porch. The back wing is two-storey and attic and harled, with masonry-gabled dormers.
