Details Site of a chapel. Only the foundations survived in 1867 by which time the burial ground had fallen into disuse. It had almost entirely disappeared by 1935 when only part of foundations of the enclosing wall remained. The chapel was known variously as ST Ronald's Chapel, and Chapel Ronan, though Simpson suggested it should be Chapel Ronan in the absence of any other dedication to St Ronald (and corruption paralleled elsewhere of Ronan into Ronald). A silver ring found on site in 1840 may have come from a burial. OS site visit 1968 noted that there was then no trace but tradition of a chapel still existed locally.
