Details Farmstead still in use. On the OS map of 1867 the farmstead is depicted as a U-shaped steading with open court to the south-southeast. The west range is longer than the east one. A lade lead to the farm from a pond in the west. South of the farm is a group of five buildings one of which is a corn mill, fed by a lade leading from the pond in the west. Another is L-shaped lying to the east. To the north of the farm are two small buildings and an enclosure, and to the north east a school. By the 1888 edition two small buildings lie opposite to open court of the steading. The mill buildings appear to be smaller, with the L-shaped one to the east now gone. Today the main U-shaped building still survives but there is now a latter addition within the courtyard. The mill appears to still survive but the other buildings appear to have now gone and a larger building now stands in the area. The school to the northeast has been converted and the other building and enclosure to the north of the farm now gone. A large new building lies to the northwest. The pond is now only a marshy area and only the northern lade survives.
