Details Parish church built 1823, the tower and spire added 1899. Designed by R Duncan. T-shaped building with detached octagonal tower and slated spire. Clock bell and spire presented to village by James Symon of Melbourne. Built of large coursed blocks of granite with tooled pink granite window and door surrounds, the later tower has smaller blocks and ashlar surrounds. The roof is of slate with two small triangular dormer vents in each side. Inside the church is a World War I wooden burial cross, which originally marked the grave at Vailly Soissons of Lt CG Gordon.
