Details Former Glass Parish Church, closed and sold in 2007, now in private ownership, and associated graveyard. The church was built in the 1790s (date of 1791 on the sundial), and renovated by Reid of Elgin in 1883-4, with further large T-plan addition and remodelling by J. Robertson (Inverness) in 1903. The original church was rectangular with a bellcote, harled with margins. The south front has four windows checked for shutters, and with later semi-elliptically arched heads and inserted tracery. Fittings included a 1754 Mowat mort bell. There is also a font by R. S. Lorimer, characteristically good glass by Douglas Strachan and an organ presented by Sir Frederick Bridge of Cairnborrow Lodge who was organist at Westminster Abbey. The church also contains a brass war memorial plaque erected by Sir Ewan and Lady Cameron in memory of their son, Captain William Cameron, 1st Btn Highland Light Infantry, who was killed in World War I, 20 December 1914, and whose Commonwealth war grave is within the churchyard. The graveyard contains gravestones from the early 18th century onwards. Standing building survey was carried out by C. Shepherd in 2011. The basement/boiler room appear to retain evidence of an earlier plan.
