Details	An evaluation was carried out between April and July 2004 of the proposed construction corridor in advance of upgrading work along the route of the A96, centred at Coachford, near Huntly. The evaluation comprised a series of trial trenches equivalent to 10 percent of the new corridor. No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
