Details Earthen mound, circa 20 m long and circa 8 m wide, standing 1.5 m high Possible long barrow. There is an apparently secondary structure on its south half. It was recorded by RCAHMS site visit in 2002, comprising a long grass- and heather-covered mound in a clearing within the forestry plantation. Aligned north-northwest to south-southeast, recorded as 24.5 m long, tapering in breadth from 7.5 m to 5.5 m towards the southeast. The height also decreases from 0.7 m to 0.5 m. Large boulders protrude through the surface, particularly visible at the northern end. Apart from at this end a skirt forms a continuous feature around the mound although unclear whether this is the remains of a platform or the result of more recent disturbance from forestry ploughing.
