Farmstead still in use that is depicted on the historic OS map. The map shows an elongate H-plan steading, to the west of which are two rectangular buildings set at right angles to one another with a garden to the south, and further north an L-plan building. A lade runs between the steading and other buildings from a mill pond to the north. The layout is essentially unchanged on the 2nd edition OS map, although one of the rectangular buildings appears to be roofless. Current maps indicate further additions and alterations to the steading. The L-plan building, formerly a house and later a pigsty (Listed Category C) is now roofless. Of early 18th century date it is single storey, 2-window harled with chamfered margins, coped chimneys and rudimentary skewputts. It has a later L-plan back wing. Photographic recording of the steading was carried out in 2020 and 2021.
