Remains of a stone circle of which only one monolith remains in situ. Approximately 25m to the east, near the edge of a quarry are several large stones, the largest and nearest having 16 cup marks on its upper surface. This stone originally lay against the monolith but was removed to its present position for preservation. A recent fracture shows on one side. Close to broken edge is a possible ogham inscription but it is too weathered to decipher. RCAHMS site visit 1994 recorded only the one stone of the circle. This stone measured 1.4m in height, 2.0m in breadth and 0.5m in thickness. There was no trace of the cup-marked stone.
