Former smithy, now in residential use, built in circa 1835. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as two pairs of L-plan buildings with a rectangular building to the north, and is depicted as a smithy. On the 2nd edition OS map the building to the north and the north-west L-plan building have both been extended. Current OS maps show the buildings to the north have been removed and the north-west L-plan building has been further altered. The cottages are L-plan, single-storey and harled with reversed plans forming a symmetrical group. The doorpieces are in the splayed re-entrant angles and all openings to the front have consoled cornices.
