Corn mill dating from the early 19th century, depicted on historic OS maps. These show a complex of buildings, mill lade, and mill pond. At the east end of the pond is a rectangular building.. Further east is an L-plan and rectangular building, the latter with a small garden enclosure to the south. To the north of the road is a group of at least 5 buildings, two arranged to form an L-plan range. A waterwheel east of the building near the pond is annotated on the 1945 OS map. Of the buildings south of the road, only the L-plan range remains (now Miller's Rest). North of the road, the L-plan steading (now in residential use) and house remains. The mill is a small 1-storey and attic rubble building. The wheel, 1.06m by 3.05m, was of a typical mid-breast type. Nearby was an 8-spoke all iron overshot wheel which drove an electric generator. Now gutted and used as a store. A photographic survey of the steading was carried out in 2010.
