Church, still in ecclesiastical use, built in 1840-41, and extended with a new front and tower by James Matthews in 1862, probably reusing material from the previous facade. There is a J.C. Wilson bell from 1864, and a hall was added later. It was built as a result of the Marnoch Case, and became a Free Church at The Distruption. The building is a large harled rectangle, with a squared granite front with coupled Roman-Doric pilasters and pediment, and an asymmetrical Italianate tower. The original glazing remains.
