Gatelodge, still in use. The lodge was built in the 19th century but the gatepiers and quadrants are mid 18th century. The lodge is a single-storey, two-bay, harled building with ashlar margins. There is an addition to the road to the north and at the rear. The entrance is to the rear, and the elevation to the road has two windows. The roof is of grey slate with coped skews and stacks and decorative cans. The gatepiers are of stugged ashlar with a cornice and ball finials, adjoining a low rubble coped, rubble retaining wall.
