Former hotel, built in the mid to later 18th century, but since much altered. It was originally a two-storey and attic, three-bay building, with an advanced centre bay, and is now raised to a full three storeys with a steeply pitched later mansard. It is constructed from heavily pointed rubble with painted ashlar margins. The centre entrance has a lugged, moulded and corniced doorpiece. The fenestration is regular, with the centre gable attic window enlarged with rendered margins, and flanked by mansard dormers under shallow catslide roofs. The slate roof has coped end stacks. The rear of the building and rear extension have been much altered. A photographic survey was carried out in 2024 prior to proposed partial demolition.
