Possibly formerly a warehouse/store, now in use as a house, built in the early to mid 18th century with some later fenestration, and converted to two dwellings in the 19th century. The two-storey and attic house has regular six-bay fenestration to the frontage. It is harled, with plain reveals to the north front and painted ashlar margins to the rear. The north elevation has enlarged later windows, a centre entrance to Number 24 and a part-battered base course. The entrance to Number 22 is in the first floor of the west (street) gable, and is approached by a later forestair, apparently added on the subdivision and flanked by blocked windows with long and short ashlar margins. Below the forestair is an additional ground floor doorway. The rear (south) elevation has five small windows, probably original to the structure, and a single later enlarged window. There are three piended wallhead dormers, 19th century coped end stacks, flat skews and a slate roof with a pottery ridge.
