Site of a railway station on part of the former Great North of Scotland Railway's Deeside line. It opened 2nd December 1859, closed to passengers 28th February 1966 and to all traffic 18th July 1966. Station and line subsequently removed and their site redeveloped for housing. The 1st edition OS map (circa 1867) shows the station to be simple, with two platforms and small buildings. By the 2nd edition OS map (circa 1888) a series of sidings are shown to the south of the line, with a possible goods shed. The footbridge over the tracks is shown at the east end of the station. Land now used for housing.
