Restored castle, probably built in circa 1560. By 1796 it had been unroofed and north-east corner had collapsed. The east wall and south gable collapsed in 1936. It was fully restored in 1978. It is transitional in style, between the simple oblong tower and the fully developed Z-plan castle. There is a rectangular tower house (11 m x 8.5 m) with a large round tower (7 m diameter) attached to the southern corner. In 1990 the castle's restoration was examined and included the techniques used, problems encountered and successes achieved.
