Main gates to Moneymusk House (NJ61NE0005), still in use, built by Alexander Jaffrey in circa 1719-20 with 19th century additions. It is shown in prints and water colours of 18th century date at the south side of the railed forecourt of the house. There are centre piers with flanking walls, and 19th century terminal piers. The gate piers are diagonally set, with banded rustication and tall urn finials. The gates are modern, but the traces of hinges of the two previous sets remain. The flanking walls are low, and terminate in low diagonal piers with astragal necking.
