Details The farmstead of New Farm is depicted on the OS map of 1867 as a roughly U-shaped steading with open court to the west. A small unattached building lies on the west side of the court, with the house to the west of it. A millpond lies to the southeast of the farm. By the 1888 edition the small unattached building has gone but the others remain along with the pond. Today the steading has been built over or replaced, and the pond is no longer depicted.
