The station is shown on the 1st edition map. and saw mill had been added by the time of the 2nd edition. The site of a timber building that stood on the platform is marked by a low stony stance. Remains of the saw mill include brick chimneys. Standing building survey of the remains was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in September 2023. A total of nine buildings associated with a saw mill were recorded, including the bases of two chimneys and a group of cement structures that may be the bases or mounts for saw mill equipment. One chimney base dated from the mid 20th century, the remaining structures were later.
