Remains of a small farmstead. It is depicted on the OS 1st edition sheet as two rectangular buildings set at right angles. The 2nd edition sheet shows that the western building has been extended to form an L-shaped range. It was visited by RCAHMS in 1998. The eastern building is a cottage, which measures 9.9m from northeast to southwest by 5.2m transversely over walls 0.6m in thickness, the southwest gable standing to over 3m in height. The footings of an L-shaped range, with its open side facing east-northeast, are visible to the northwest. This contains a byre in its south wing and a threshing barn in its north wing. The barn has a wheel-pit set against its northwest side, and the wheel was originally supplied with water via a lade leading downslope from a pond to the southwest.
