Remains of a now disused section of the Great North of Scotland Railway line, the 'Alford Section', and remains of the railway station. Tillyfourie station was opened in 1860. The branch closed to regular traffic on 2 January 1950. Four buildings at the station are depicted on the OS 2nd edition map, of which only the main station building remains, converted to private dwelling in the 1960s. A concrete raft marks the site of the building which stood to the west. The stone facings of the two platforms have been removed and the edges battered back. The west bound track-bed is in use as a track.
