The branch closed to regular traffic on 2 January 1950. Four buildings at the station are depicted on the OS 2nd edition map, of which only the main station building remains, converted to private dwelling in the 1960s. A concrete raft marks the site of the building which stood to the west. The stone facings of the two platforms have been removed and the edges battered back.
