Site of a Class I Pictish symbol stone which was found embedded face down in the soil near Newton of Lewesk farmstead in 1814 by the farmer. The stone, of red granite measuring 2ft 10ins long, and 7ins thick, is the only example known to have a rectangle with rod attached, and also bears a double crescent and 'mirror case' symbols. It was removed from Newton of Lewesk to Logie House, and can now be found beside the driveway of Kinellar House (NJ72NW0049).
