Bank, still in use, built by William Smith in 1867 as the Town and County Bank. It is a Renaissance, two-storey and attic, granite ashlar building. There is a segmentally pedimented tripartite, a balustraded Roman-Doric column porch, and quoin angles at the ground-floor. The first floor has a four-window cornice and parapet. Within the gable is a centre, shallow two-window projection and twin chimneys. The roof of the building at the front suffered severe fire damage in January 2017.
