Details Site of stone circle. There were 7 standing stones. In 1807 cartloads of sand were removed and two cists were found each containing an urn with pieces of bone and black earth. Local knowledge confirmed that a slight rise about 15m in diameter reveals stones on ploughing. A faint circular crop mark is visible on a vertical aerial photograph taken in 1977.
