Hill enclosure or fort, the largest enclosed site in Northeast Scotland. The low rounded summit of the hill is enveloped by a stone bank, spread to an approximate width of 4m and height of 0.50m, fringed on inner edge by quarry scoops. It is difficult to trace the entire circuit but a gap is apparent on the west side which may be the original entrance. Within the enclosure are the remains of eight huts, circa 7-8m in diameter, as well as platform or quarry scoops. The site is now surrounded by a forestry plantation.
