Details Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is called 'Mutton Hillock' and consists of a U-plan steading with the court open to the south, a smaller building to the south-west with attached enclosure and a roughly triangular pond with sluice. By the 2nd edition OS map the farm has its present name, the pond has a dam marked and both buildings have extensions, the steading to the east and the farmhouse to the south. The 2006 map shows that the steading has been further modified and the extension on the farmhouse has been removed. The pond is still marked, although reduced in extent.
