Farmstead, still in use. The OS 1st edition map shows a U-plan steading and L-plan range, the latter with an attached horsemill. By the time of the 2nd edition the long wing of the L-plan range had been shortened, the horsemill removed and the steading extended to a C-plan. The farmhouse, of later 18th century date, is a two-storey, white painted harl huse consisting of three broadly spaced bays. On the south elevation there is a doorway in the centre with roll-moulded jambs, flanked by windows which have been enlarged with modern glazing. There are three sash and case 12-pane windows to the first floor. The north elevation features a semi-circular stair tower at the centre with a 12-pane window at first floor level. There is a lean-to addition on the left side of the tower. A single-storey wing adjoins the north elevation at right angles to the east. The single storey wing features sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing pattern.
