Gate lodge, still in residential use, built in circa 1800. It is an octagonal-plan, single-storey gate lodge that is harled with ashlar margins and has a base and eaves course. There is a two-leaf boarded door to the west with a window to each elevation, blocked to the south. The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern. There are grey slates to the octagonal roof and a central, rubble coped octagonal stack. There is a gatepier adjoined to the south face, with railings extending to a pair of ashlar gatepiers with ball finials, each with engaged columns and supporting wrought-iron two-leaf gates with spear-headed railings. There are two additional piers to the east and west of the lodge with terminating railings.
