Dovecot, probably built in the 17th century. A rectangular dovecot with long elevations on the north and south sides stands on the opposite side of a ravine from Boyne castle. It is rubble built with tooled rubble dressings. The entrance, on the south elevation, is narrow with chamfered dressings. A single rat course encircles the whole building with a second returning across each gable with a small vent above it. The gables are crow-stepped and the roof slated although in a very poor condition. The interior is lined with circa 750 stone nesting boxes, each with rubble verticals and stone-slate horizontals. This dovecot probably superseded an earlier circular dovecot which may have stood near the earlier castle of Craig o'Boyne.
