Details Harbour, probably dating to the earlier 18th Century. Harbour to the South, now infilled, was of rubble construction. The present harbour was rebuilt in 1900, and is of concrete construction. Formed by an L-plan pier, with a short return arm and a straight pier. Rectangular basin formed by these piers is split in 2 by a pier projecting from seaward side of L-plan pier. There is a lighthouse at the end of the pier. Site visit in 2022 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey.
