Pair of houses, still in use, built in the mid-19th century. It is a pair of single-storey and attic, two-bay harled dwellings, with painted ashlar dressings. The principal elevation has paired corniced and pilastered entrances with panelled doors, each with a window in the outer bay. Each house has a canted wallhead oriel dormer supported by substantial shaped corbel projecting just below wallhead. There are coped end rubble stacks to the slate roofs. No 23 has plate glass timber sash and case glazing. No 25 has modern plate glass glazing with hopper upper lights.
