Inn, still in use, built in the late 18th century. It is depicted as a public house on the 1st edition OS map, and an Inn on the 2nd edition OS map. The building is two-storey and dormerless attic, with a three-bay frontage and two later parallel gabled rear wings. It is harled with painted ashlar margins. The principal elevation has a centre door and small first floor windows close to wallhead. The north return gable has a pair of ground windows, one first floor window and a pair of diminutive attic lights. The rear wings are two-storey and two-bay, with doorways in the north return elevation and east gable. There is varied fenestration to wings, with plate glass and four-pane timber sash and case glazing. The building has coped end stacks and slate roofs.
