House, still in use, built in circa 1830-40, probably on an earlier site, with 20th century additions. It is a two-storey, wide three-bay, harled house, with painted margins and dressings. The principal elevation has a centre entrance with a shallow corniced doorpiece with plain anthemion detailing and panelled door. There is regular fenestration, with the smaller first floor windows linked by a continuous sill/bandcourse and eaves course. The windows use 12-pane timber sash and case glazing. To the north is an additional doorway, serving a former shop. Projectin at right angles to the rear is a single storey, four-bay whitewashed rubble cottage, now serving as a store, which has a corrugated iron roof. Inside the main house is a staircase with plain wooden balusters and a polished wooden handrail. The first floor drawing-room has deep corniced skirting boards, and a black painted earlier 19th century, possibly slate, chimneypiece, and a later 19th century cast-iron hearth. At the ground floor is a small re-used chimneypiece decorated with Prince of Wales feathers (installed 1990).
