Mansion House and walled garden. Prior to 1818, Housedale was the mansion house of the Echt barony. It was reduced in size to allow room for the garden, and only the wings remain. Of the centre part of the house, only the front wall remains with a moulded doorpiece and a fine 1705 cartouche above it. The north wing has been completely reconstructed with jerkin-head gables. The south wing is a single-storey and attic building, badly reconstructed with tall roof and porch. There is a 2-storey outbuilding dated 1723, harled with chamfered margins and skewputts, and a large walled garden on axis of house.
