Cross stone. Its original position is unknown, but it is said to have been found on the slope of the Barmekin of Echt circa 1841, then built into a dyke at upper Mains of Echt before being moved to the lawn of Dunecht House. It dates from the 11th-13th centuries, but has been broken so that only two-thirds of the incised circle remains. Inscribed on the stone's surface is a small Greek cross 178 mm long by 165 mm broad within circle 55 cm in diameter, roughly hewn.
