Mid Mill is depicted as a corn mill on the 1st edition OS map with two mill dams, one of which is quite large, lying to the west joined by a lade. The mill lies to the east of a U-shaped building part of which is depicted as disused, with open court to the north. Another building orientated east-west lies between the mill and the steading. 40 m to the northeast of the mill is another smaller L-shaped building with attached enclosures. By the 2nd edition OS map the original mill has gone and another small building lies beside the dam, which may be a small mill. The larger dam to the west is no longer depicted. The farmstead is now U-shaped with open court to the south. A small building with attached enclosure on its east side lies to the north of the farm. Two further buildings lie circa 70 m to the northeast. Today the buildings have been altered considerably with little surviving of the original farm, and is now a business centre. The mill has now gone as have the dams.
