Details West lodge and gate piers for Castle Fraser, built circa 1820-30. Originally a small single storey lodge constructed in ashlar masonry with small sections of rubble, and an asymmetrical bow with a circular chimney. The lodge has been extended eastwards, forming a Z-plan. The gate piers are also circular.
