Site of a cairn, which marked the burial place, or the spot where he fell, of Sir Alexander Irvine of Drum, who was killed at the Battle of Harlaw. It is marked at this location on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps, and on modern maps, as the 'Site of Drum's Cairn'. The surrounding area is strewn with stones from field clearance but there are no certain remains of a cairn.
