Details Site of a small farmstead which stood on the northwest facing slopes of Core Hill. It is depicted on the 1st edition OS map of 1867. It shows an L-plan building, a rectangular one, and an enclosure with a possible small building at its southeast corner. There had been some alterations by the time of the 2nd edition map of 1888, which shows a rectangular building attached to the west side of the enclosure, with a longer range to the southwest. RCAHMS field visit in 2002 recorded that nothing is visible of the steading which stood in what is now a cultivated field.
